80/20 Endurance LLC is the world's largest dedicated provider of training plans and solutions for endurance athletes. The company's mission is to make elite best practices in endurance training available to everyone. More than just a training method, 80/20 Endurance is a global community of likeminded athletes who are brought together by a diverse array of offerings that include books, a podcastvirtual conferences, a charitable foundation, education, and more. The company's training methods are built on the optimal intensity balance and other empirical principles outlined in the co-founders' best-selling books 80/20 Running and 80/20 Triathlon.

Matt Fitzgerald

Co-founder Matt Fitzgerald is an acclaimed endurance sports coach, nutritionist, and author. His many books include The Endurance Diet, 80/20 Running, and How Bad Do You Want It? Matt’s writing also appears regularly in magazines and on websites such as Women’s Running and outsideonline.com. His online training plans have helped thousands of athletes of all experience and ability levels achieve their goals. Certified by the International Society of Sports Nutrition, Matt has consulted for numerous sports nutrition companies and he is the creator of the Diet Quality Score (DQS) smartphone app. A lifelong athlete, he speaks frequently at events throughout the United States and internationally. David Warden

David Warden

Co-founder David Warden is an internationally recognized coach and author. His clients include World Age Group Duathlon champions, Guinness World Record triathlon holders, and multiple Ironman World Championship qualifiers. He is the co-author of Triathlon Science, the industry standard for triathlon coaches and academics and 80/20 Triathlon with Matt Fitzgerald. His athletic resume includes 46 first place overall wins in triathlon and duathlon, including the 2x USAT Regional Sprint Triathlon Champion (2011, 2016). He has finished as the top American at the Mallorca 70.3, Abu Dhabi International Half, and Balearic Championships. David is every bit as handsome, but not nearly as tall, as his photo suggests. Hanna Hunstad

Director of Marketing Hanna Hunstad oversees and manages social media outreach, marketing initiatives, brand stewardship, and business development. When not providing support to 80/20 athletes, you'll find Hanna hosting and producing the 80/20 Endurance Podcast and the virtual conference The Endurance Event. A lifelong swimmer, she was captain of the Boston College swim team and now competes in triathlons, earning All-World honors in her first season of Ironman 70.3 racing and qualified for World Championships. Leyla Porteous

Director of Training and Operations Leyla Porteous oversees existing and new training products and services. She is a lifelong swimmer, a rite of passage for the native Australian. She has a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion, an MBA, and is an Ironman University and USAT Certified Triathlon Coach. Leyla has completed numerous endurance events around the globe, including the Ironman World Championships in Kona, the 70.3 World Championships in Australia, and representing Australia at the Triathlon Age Group Championships in Chicago. When not working on training plans or with athletes you'll find Leyla trying to convince Matt and David that all our athletic kits should be fluorescent.
